Introduction

Das Present Simple ist die angespannte Sprache, um über Situationen zu sprechen, die regelmäßig, immer wieder oder immer auftreten.

Die Interrogative Form wird verwendet, um Fragen zu stellen.

Form

Die Interrogative Form des Verbes to travel hat diese Bildung*:
Do/does + subject + verb + …? („does“ für die dritte Person singular).

*Ausnahmen: Verb „to be“.

Die dritte Person Singular besteht aus: Third person singular of the verb to do (= does) + subject + base form of the verb you’re conjugating (in this case „to travel“) + question mark (?).

    • Did the doctor study English?
  7. Geplante Zukunft

    • Does Emily’s plane land in 2 hours, or 3?
  8. Versprechungen usw.
    • Do you promise to buy me a new phone?
  9. Fahrpläne
    • Does the train leave at 7 o’ clock?

Use

Das Present Simple wird verwendet, um Fragen zu Stellen über:

  1. Geplante Zukunft (Geplante Ereignisse mit genauem Datum);
  2. Fahrpläne (geplante Ereignisse mit genauer Zeit);
  3. Gewohnheiten / Routinen (was in der Gegenwart immer wieder passiert);
  4. Fakten (Dinge, die im Allgemeinen wahr sind);
  5. Permanente Situationen (die schon seit einiger Zeit geschehen und in der Zukunft geschehen werden);
  6. Versprechungen;
  7. Anweisungen (Bestellungen);
  8. Abgeschlossene Handlungen, die am Moment des Sprechens auftreten (z. B. Kommentare);
  9. Informelle Erzählung (wenn man eine Geschichte erzählt).
