Introduction

Adjektiboak esaldian bi leku ezberdinetak kokatu daitezkeen determinatzaileak dira pertsona edo gauza bat aldatzeko edo deskribatzeko.

Adjektiboak ahots aktibo edo pasiboarekin erabili daitezke.

Form

Adjektibo aktibo eta pasiboak hurrengo formetan eratu daitezke:

  • Adjektibo aktiboak -ing atzizkiarekin.
  • Adjektibo pasiboak -ed atzizkiarekin.

Example

Adjektibo aktiboak

  • Her answer was amazing!
  • The film is so boring!
  • They found the topic very interesting.

Adjektibo pasiboak

  • We were amazed by her answer.
  • I don’t like this film, I’m bored.
  • They were interested in the topic.

Use

Adjektibo aktiboak norbaitek edo zerbaitek efektu jakin bat eragiten duela adierazteko.

Adjektibo pasiboak erabiltzen ditugu norbait edo zerbait sentimendu edo emozio bat bizi duela adierazteko.

  • Adjektibo aktiboak -ing atzizkiarekin, express the idea of something or someone causing a particular event or effect.
  • Adjektibo pasiboak -ed atzizkiarekin, zerbaiten edo noraiten gertaera edo ondorio berezi baten esperientziaren ideia adierazten da.

Adibidez:
— “This class was boring!” = Ahots aktiboa erabiltzen dugu clasea [class] delako egoera azpergarria [boring] eratzen duena.
