Introduction
Auf English gibt es zwei haupt Fragetypen: Yes/No Questions und Wh- Questions.
Wh- Questions fangen immer mit einem Wh- Questions Words an (Fragepronomen), das zeigt welche Information wir wollen. Diese Fragen werden auch Open Questions genannt (offene Fragen), weil die mögliche Antworten unendlich sind.
Form
Wh- Questions haben diese Bildung:
Wh- question word + auxiliary/modal verb + subject + verb + …?
when, where, why, which, what, whose, who, whom,how.
Example
- What can I do now?
- When does she need to wear glasses?
- Where did you live 10 years ago?
- Which synagogue is yours?
- Who listened carefully?
- Whom did he call?
- Whose lawyer is this?
- Why have you got Christian hereditary?
- How old were you when you became religious?
Use
Wh- Wörter werden verwendet, um Fragen zu stellen:
- When (to ask for information about time);
- Where (to ask for information about place);
- Why (to ask for a reason);
- Which (to ask for information about a preference between two or more things);
- What (to ask for information about something);
- Whose (to ask for information about who something belongs to);
- Who (to ask for information about people, as a subject);
- Whom (to ask for information about people, as an object);
- How (to ask for information about the way something is done, the way something happens).
Es ist sehr wichtig ein Hilfs- oder Modalverb nach einer Wh- Questions und bevor einem Subjekt zu platzieren.
Summary
Auf English, neigen wir dazu Wh- Questions zu verwenden.
Diese sind Fragen, die immer mit einem Wh- Wort anfangen, und zeigen die Information, die wir wollen:
- When (to ask about time);
- Where (to ask about place);
- Why (to ask for a reason);
- Which (to ask about a preference between two or more things);
- What (to ask about something);
- Whose (to ask about who something belongs to).
- Who (to ask about people, as a subject);
- Whom (to ask about people, as an object);
- How (to ask about the way something is done, the way something happens).
Um eine Wh- Questions zu formieren, folgen wir diese Bildung:
Wh- question words + auxiliary/modal verb + subject + verb + … + question mark (?)
when, where, why, which, what, whose, who, whom, how.
Zum Beispiel:
— „Where is the toilet?“ = Das Fragewort „where“ schlägt vor, dass der Sprecher die Position von etwas wissen will.
NOTE: Ein Hilfsverb (be/have…) oder Modalverb (can/could/would…) muss nach einer Wh- Frage und bevor einem Subjekt platziert werden.
