Present Simple nolieguma formā

Introduction

Laiku present simple izmanto, lai paustu nemainīgu situāciju vai notikumus, kas regulāri atkārtojas vai vienmēr notiek.

Kad izteikts nolieguma [negative] formā, darbības vārds noliedz kaut ko par teikuma priekšmetu.

Form

Laikam present simple nolieguma formā ir sekojoša formula:
Subject + do/does + not + verb + …

  • Do/does: trešajai personai vienskaitlī do mainās uz does;
  • Darbības vārds [verb]: darbības vārda pamatforma nemainās (paliek bez izmaiņām);
  • Nekārtns [irregular] darbības vārds to be: I am not – you aren’t – he isn’t…

Use

Present simple nolieguma formā izmanto, lai noliegtu kaut ko par:

  1. Nākotnes plāniem (plānoti notikumi ar noteiktu datumu);
  2. Grafikiem (plānoti notikumi ar noteiktu laiku);
  3. Paradumiem/rutīnu (kaut kas vairākkārt notiekošais tagadnes laikā);
  4. Faktiem (kas parasti ir patiesi, noteikti);
  5. Pastāvīgajām situācijām (kas notiek jau kādu laiku un notiks nākotnē);
  6. Solījumiem;
  7. Instrukcijām (pavēlēm);
  8. Pabeigtām darbībām, kas notiek pašlaik (komentāri);
  9. Stāstījumiem neoficiālajā gaisotnē (stāstot stāstu).

Izmantojamā formula:
Subject + do/does + not + verb + … (does trešajai personai vienskaitlī)

PIEZĪME: Darbības vārds to be ir nekārtns darbības vārds, tāpēc uz to neattiecas galvenais nolieguma formas veidošanas likums, aiz darbības vārda vienkārši pievieno not.
