Summary
To be used to, en la forma interrogativa, pregunta sobre hábitos y costumbres que nos son familiares.
La estructura es:
To be + subject + used to + [verb + ing]/pronoun/noun phrase + …?
Por ejemplo:
— «Are you used to having breakfast early in the morning?» = Preguntamos si desayunar en la mañana es el hábito del sujeto o no.
NOTA: No lo confundas con to use to, que podría aparecer solamente en oraciones que ya son en el tiempo pasado.
Por ejemplo:
— «Are you used to having breakfast early in the morning?» = Usamos to be used to para preguntar si el sujeto está acostumbrado a la acción ahora.
♦ «Did you use to have breakfast in the morning?«= Usamos to use to para preguntar si la acción pasó en el pasado, porque ya no pasa («Did you used to have breakfast early in the morning?» = Aquí ya se muestra el tiempo pasado con did).
