Introduction

Apstākļu vārdi [adverbs] ir izteicieni, kas kalpo par citu teikumu locekļu noteicējiem. Tie var sniegt dažādu informāciju.

Laika apstākļu vārdus [time adverbs] bieži izmanto ar present perfect laiku, un tie darbojas, kā citu teikumu locekļu noteicēji.

Form

Galvenie laika apstākļu vārdi, kurus izmanto ar present perfect laiku ir: already, just, still un yet.

To atrašanās vieta teikumos:

  • AlreadySubject + have/has + already + past participle + …
  • JustSubject + have/has + just + past participle + …
  • StillSubject + have/has + still + verb + …
  • Yet: Subject + verb + … + yet

PIEZĪME: Tie var atrasties dažādās vietās, ja netiek izmantoti ar perfect laikiem.

Example

Apstiprinošs izteiciens

  • She has just retired.
  • He has already booked his ticket.
  • Have they just sent a fax?

Noliedzošs izteiciens

  • I still haven’t made any plan for Christmas.
  • Have you still not done the laundry?
  • Haven’t they sent an email yet?

Use

Laika apstākļu vārdi izsaka, kad notika darbība, kā arī cik ilgi un bieži tā notika. Galvenie laika apstākļu vārdi ir:

  • Already izmanto, lai pateiktu, ka kaut kas ir noticis agri vai agrāk par paredzēto.
  • Just izmanto, lai izteiktu darbību, kas notika dotajā brīdī vai neilgi pēc tā.
  • Still izmanto, lai izteiktu darbību, kas nav pabeigta vai notiek ilgāk, nekā paredzēts.
  • Yet izmanto, lai pateiktu, ka kaut kas nenotiek tagad, bet notiks tuvākajā nākotnē.

 

Summary

Kad īpašības vārdus [adverbs] izmanto ar present perfect laiku, tie var kalpot par citu teikumu locekļu noteicējiem.

To atrašanās vieta teikumos:

  • AlreadySubject + have/has + already + past participle + …
  • JustSubject + have/has + just + past participle + …
  • StillSubject + have/has + still + verb + …
  • Yet: Subject + verb + … + yet

Piemēram:
— “I have already arrived home.” = Darbība notika pagātnē un vairs nenotiks (by now).
— “I have just arrived home.” = Darbība notika nesenajā pagātnē (shortly before).
— “I still haven’t arrived home.” =  Darbība nav beigusies (continuing to happen).
— “I haven’t arrived home yet.” = Darbība nav notikusi pagātnē vai tagadnē, jo tā notiks tuvākajā nākotnē (until now).

PIEZĪME: Dažus īpašības vārdus [adverbs] izmanto tikai nolieguma izteicienos, tos neizmanto apstiprinoši ( are only used in negative statements and not in positive ones (un otrādi). Turklāt tie var būt novietoti dažādās vietās, kad netiek izmantoti ar perfect laikiem.
