Introduction

Czasownik modalny [modal verb}  to rodzaj czasownika pomocniczego, który nie ma żadnego znaczenia sam w sobie, ale modyfikuje znaczenie głównego czasownika i dostarcza więcej informacji.

Ought to to czasownik modalny który wyraża zobowiązanie lub obowiązek przez radę lub polecanie.

Form

Ought to zawsze ma tą samą formę nawet dla trzeciej osoby liczby pojedynczej. Struktura ta występuje w trzech formach.
