Określniki ilościowe

Introduction

Określniki są modyfikatorami rzeczowników. Mogą one dostarczyć informacje o tym, którzy i ile / wielu ludzi, rzeczy, zwierząt, miejsc… o których mówimy.

Najczęściej używane określniki to: all (of), a lot of (lots of), a number ofenough (of), most (of), none (of)…

Example

  1. All my friends like drawing.
    All of my friends like drawing.
  2. A lot can happen in a long trip.
    Lots of things can happen in a long trip.
  3. A number of pilots were waiting.
  4. There isn’t enough red wine for everyone.
    There are enough of us to get the group price.
  5. This plant has the most strawberries.

Use

Używamy określników ilościowych [1] by wskazać na ilość czegoś:

  1. All (of) (wszyscy lub wszystko, cała ilość);
  2. A lot (of) (duża ilość, skala lub stopień);
  3. A number of (więcej niż dwa but ale mniej niż dużo);
  4. Enough (of) (ilość, ilość, lub skala która spełnia wymagania, wymogi, lub oczekiwania);
  5. Most (of) (największy w ilości, skala, lub stopień, większość);
  6. None (of) (żadne, ani jedna rzecz lub osoba).
