Advertising

Tom calls his colleague Fred but he isn’t at home.

Jack: Hello?

Tom: Good morning.

J: May I ask who is calling, please?

T: It’s Tom Bell, Fred’s colleague. Can I speak to him, please?

J: Okay, wait a moment please… I’m sorry, he’s not here at the moment. He went to the post office to send a letter.

T: Can I leave a message, please?

J: Sure.

T: Tell him to call me as soon as he can. We have a problem at work.

J: Okay, I’ll do it. Goodbye!

T: Thank you, bye!
