Les nombres cardinaux sont invariables et ils ont la même forme devant un nom masculin ou féminin.
- 200 – deux cents
- 300 – trois cents
- 310 – trois cent dix
- 400 – quatre cents
- 800 – huit cents
- 900 – neuf cents
- 1000 – mille
- 2000 – deux mille
- 3000 – trois mille
- 9000 – neuf mille
- 1 000 000 – un million
- 3 000 000 – trois millions
- 1 000 000 000 – un milliard
- 3 000 000 000 – trois milliards
Example
- Il y a 400 (quatre cents) élèves dans cette école.
- Ma mère est née en 1966 (mille neuf cent soixante-six).
- Il gagne 2300 (deux mille trois cents) euros par mois.
- 1 000 000 x 4 = 4 000 000 (Un million fois quatre égale quatre millions).
- Que ferais-tu si tu gagnais un milliard (1 000 000 000) d’euros?
