Divisione in sillabe – dittonghi, trittonghi, iati

Introduction

Dittonghi, trittonghi e iati sono sillabe particolari formate da più vocali. Per questo, anch’essi sono soggetti a delle norme nella divisione in sillabe.

Form

Le regole della divisione in sillabe rimangono le stesse per tutte le parole, solo che non tutte le sillabe si dividono.

Example

  • Dittonghi: pie-de, pio-ve, etc.
  • Trittonghi: a-iuo-la, cam- biai, etc.
  • Iati: ma-e-stro, pa-e-se, etc.

Use

Formando un’unica sillaba, dittonghi e trittonghi non si dividono mai.
Si dividono in sillabe, invece, gli iati.
