Le consonanti c e g , legandosi alla lettera h, diventano ch e gh e hanno un’articolazione occlusiva velare.

Form

I suoni occlusivi velari sono:

Maiuscolo Minuscolo Fonetica
CH ch /k/
GH gh /g/

 

Example

c : barche, chitarra, parchi;
g : ghepardo, laghi, streghe.

Use

Questo suono velare si pronuncia accostando la lingua al palato mollle in modo da produrre un suono duro, seguito dalle vocali e, i.

  • ch: sorda, le corde vocali non vibrano durante l’articolazione;
  • gh: sonora, le corde vocali vibrano durante l’articolazione.
