Introduction

Le consonanti c e g sono occlusive velari, rispettivamente sorda e sonora.

Form

Le consonanti occlusive velari sono:

C c /k/
G g /g/

 

Example

c: cane, cosa, cura, ma anche karate;
g: canguro, glutine, gola.

Use

Questi suoni si pronunciano accostando il dorso della lingua al palato. Emettono un suono duro con le vocali a, o, u, o accanto a consonanti come la “l”. Il suono /k/, oltre che dalla c, può anche essere riprodotto dall’articolazione italiana della consonante straniera k.

  • c: sorda, le corde vocali non vibrano durante l’articolazione;
  • g: sonora, le corde vocali vibrano durante l’articolazione.
