36 Gerund

Introduction

The Gerund is a verb that functions as a noun referring to an action, a process or a state.

Form

Gerund consists of base form of the verb and -ing.

Example

  • He is good at teaching Spanish.
  • She enjoys playing with her friends.
  • Counting to ten is easy.
