Introduction
La Struttura Perifrastica è un’espressione composta da più elementi che nel loro insieme costituiscono un unico significato.
Tra le perifrastiche più comuni abbiamo la costruzione Stare per + Infinito.
Form
La struttura Stare per + Infinito si ottiene coniugando il verbo Stare all’indicativo presente, imperfetto o futuro semplice, facendolo seguire dalla preposizione Per e dall’Infinito di un altro verbo.

- Sto per uscire, vado ad una festa stasera.
- Stai per cominciare il tuo turno al lavoro?
- Matteo stava per confessare tutta la verità a sua madre.
- Quando sono arrivati stavamo per andare a dormire.
- Quando starete per salire sull’autobus, chiamatemi.
- I nonni staranno per arrivare da un momento all’altro.
Use
La struttura Stare per + infinito si usa per indicare un’azione che sta per avvenire o per compiere.
