Semicolon
Introduction
The semicolon is a punctuation mark, something between a full stop and a comma. It is stronger than a comma but weaker than a full stop.

The semicolon symbol is: ;
Example
- The students are from: Poland, Warsaw; Italy, Rome; Spain, Valencia.
- The teachers live in: Alabama, Mongomery; Arizona, Phoenix; Georgia, Atlanta.
- My friends come from: Sweden, Stockholm; Poland, Cracow.
Use
Use a semicolon to separate units of a series when one or more of the units contain commas.
