One planet, many countries
The Earth can be found between Venus and Mars, and it is the fifth biggest planet in our solar system. The moon is its only satellite. Our planet is four and a half billion years old and is the place where seven billion people live.
Seventy percent of the planet is water. Its inhabitants are concentrated on the other 30 percent of the surface, on the continents: America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Each continent is made up of different countries, and each one has its own language, culture and customs. It is now easy to learn them: there are lots of ways to travel all over the world.
Learning languages is good for travelling; but it is also posible to learn with books or using the internet because you can see those regions with their mountains, oceans, rivers, deserts, cities or villages.
