Introduction
Kata depan [prepositions] merupakan bagian penting dalam sebuah kalimat karena dapat memberikan informasi detail tambahan tentang kalimat tersebut.
Kata sifat [adjectives] adalah kata penentu yang dapat diletakkan pada dua posisi yang berbeda dalam sebuah kalimat untuk mengubah atau menjelaskan seseorang atau sesuatu. Beberapa kata sifat hanya digunakan bersama kata depan tertentu.
Form
Kata depan yang umumnya digunakan bersama dengan kata sifat adalah: at, for, of, to dan in.

- Smoking is extremely bad for you.
- The novel was too difficult for his class.

- The director is very proud of his movie.
- Jason was ashamed of his behavior.
- She is full of energy.
To
- I think I’m a bit addicted to music.
- He doesn’t feel connected to his country at all.

Use
Beberapa kata depan dapat mengikuti sejumlah kata sifat untuk menjelaskan sesuatu. Akan tetapi tidak ada aturan umum untuk kombinasi kata sifat dan kata depan dalam kalimat.
