Introduction
Future adalah bentuk tenses yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan peristiwa di masa depan. Kita menggunakan struktur future simple untuk menyampaikan prediksi, niat atau hal yang diyakini terjadi di masa depan.
Ketika disampaikan dalam format afirmatif, kata kerja tersebut mengonfirmasi sesuatu tentang subjek dimaksud.
Form
Future simple, dalam format afirmatif, memiliki struktur sebagai berikut:
Subject + will + verb + …
- Bentuk singkat dari format afirmatif adalah: I’ll – you’ll – he’ll…

Example
- Janji
- I will be there, I promise!
- She promises she will wear a bikini.
- We will tell you if he shows up.
- Keputusan yang diambil secara spontan

- Sure, he’ll come tonight.
- No worries, they’ll call you back.
- Harapan/pendapat/prediksi
- I hope you will leave soon.
- I think she will pay with cash.
- In my opinion, they will buy this business.
Use
Future simple, dalam format afirmatif, digunakan untuk:
- Membuat janji;
- Mengambil keputusan secara spontan;
- Mengekspresikan harapan, opini atau prediksi.

Kita menggunakan future simple, dalam format afirmatif, untuk mengonfirmasikan suatu prediksi, niat atau hal yang kita yakini, dan kita percaya bahwa hal tersebut akan terjadi di masa depan.
