Introduction

Iragana iragan gertaerak adierazteko erabiltzen da. Iragan sinplea erabiltzen dugu iraganari buruzko iragarpen, sinesmenak edo asmoei buruzko egiturak sarrarazteko.

Baiezko forman erabiltzean, aditzak subjektuari buruz zerbait berresten du.

Form

Iragan sinpleak, baiezko forman, hurrengo egitura dauka:
Subject + will + verb + …

Subject will Verb
I/You/He/She/It will work
We/You/They will work

Baiezko formaren forma laburtuak hurrengoak dira: I’ll – you’ll – he’ll…

Example

Promesak

  • I will be there, I promise!
  • She promises she will wear a bikini.
  • We will tell you if he shows up.

Bat-bateko erabakiak

  • I’m cold, I will put my gloves on!
  • Sure, he’ll come tonight.
  • No worries, they’ll call you back.

Itxaropen/iritzi/iragarpenak

  • I hope you will leave soon.
  • I think she will pay with cash.
  • In my opinion, they will buy this business.

Use

Iragan sinplean, baiezko forma hurrengorako erabiltzen dugu:

  1. Promesak egiteko;
  2. Bat-bateko erabakiak hartzeko;
  3. Itxaropen, iritzi edo iragarpenak adierazteko.

Iragan sinplea, baiezko forman, iraganari buruzko iragarpen, sinesmenak edo asmoak berresteko erabiltzen dugu.

Iragan sinplea baiezko forman, subjektuarekin hasten gara will eta aditzaren oinarrizko formarekin ondoren.

Adibidez:
— “We will work on important projects next month.” =  iragan sinple baiezko esaldia, beraz, will erabiltzen dugu to work aditzaren oinarrizko formaren aurretik (will work).
♦ “We work on important projects.” = orainaldi sinple baiezko esaldia, beraz to work aditzaren oinarrizko forma (work) erabiltzen dugu.

The future simple in its affirmative form confirms something about predictions, beliefs, or intentions about the future. You can also deny something with Negative form and ask something with Interrogative form.

In English, you can learn more about things that are about to happen with Be going to;

  • At B1 you can learn about actions will be in progress in the future with the  Future continuous;
  • At B2 you can learn about a completed action in the future the Future perfect and continuous action that will be completed at some point in the future with Future perfect continuous.
