  • Etorkizun sinplea erabiltzen dugu iraganean aurreikuspen, sinesmen edo asmoa adierazteko.
  • Be going to erabiltzen dugu betebeharrak, aurreikuspenak eta gertatuko diren gauzez hitz egiteko.

Adibidez:
— “This printer will probably cost you 70 euros. I heard that it is the usual price.” = Ez dakigu prezioa, uste dugun prezioa esaten dugu eta horregatik etorkizun sinplea erabiltzen dugu.
— “This printer is going to cost 70 euros. I checked the price tag.” = Prezioa badakigu, horregatik be going to erabiltzen dugu.

OHARRA: Egoera batzuetan be going to egitura erabiltzen da, beste batzuek, aldiz, etorkizun sinplea behar dute.
