Introduction
Adberbioak klausularen beste elementuen modifikatzaile moduan funtzionatzen duten espresioak dira. Informazio ugari eman dezakete.
Gradu adberbioak edo areagotzaileak [intensifiers] informazioa ematen dute ekintza edo adjektibo baten intentsitateari buruz {ikusi Adverbs of Degree, A1 level}.
Form
Gradu adberbioak to be edo to have aditz laguntzaileen atzetik jarri ohi dira, edo beste aditz batzuen edo modifikatzen dituzten hitzen aurretik.
Regular
Kasu gehienetan gradu adberbio erregularrak -ly adjektibora gehituz lortzen ditugu. Adibidez:

Irregular
Gradu adberbioen eraketan hainbat salbuespen daude, beraz, ez dugu arau berdina jarraitzen eta adjektiboaren forma berdina bakarrik mantentzen du. Adibidez:

Regular
- They barely know each other.
- We are really angry about the noise.
- It is totally worth it!

Irregular
- She almost spilt the orange juice.
- I think you had enough wine.
- This bag of potatoes is too heavy.
- They are very thirsty.
- You have quite a shopping list here.
Use
Gradu adberbioak ekintza, adjektibo edo beste adberbio baten intentsitatea erakusteko erabiltzen ditugu.
Summary
Gradu adberbioak ekintza, adjektibo edo beste adberbio baten intentsitateari buruz informazio ematen digute. Normalean aditz laguntzaile baten atzetik doa eta beste aditz edo modifikatzen duten hitz baten aurretik.
-ly adjektiboari gehituz sortzen dira (barely, really, totally, completely, absolutely…).
Adibidez:
— “Absolute” ⇒ “I absolutely agree with you.” = Ekintza baten intentsitatea erakusten du.
— “Real” ⇒ “I am really happy right now.” = Adjektibo baten intentsitatea erakusten du.
Gradu adberbio batzuk irregularrak dira eta adjektiboen forma berdina bakarrik mantentzen dute (almost, enough, too, very, quite…).
Adibidez:
— “Almost” ⇒ “She almost drank it all.”
Berrikusi dezagun {Form} atalaren edukia. Begira ezazu erabilera {Examples} atalean testuinguru batean nola erabiltzen den ikusteko.
