Introduction
Le futur [future] est un temps qui sert à parler d’événements qui n’ont pas encore eu lieu. On emploie le futur simple [future simple] pour formuler une prédiction, une hypothèse ou une intention future.
À la forme affirmative, il sert à confirmer quelque chose à propos du sujet.
Form
Voici la structure du futur simple à la forme affirmative :

Les formes contractées affirmatives sont : I’ll, you’ll, he’ll…
Example
Promesses
- I will be there, I promise!
- She promises she will wear a bikini.
- We will tell you if he shows up.
Évidences aux vues de la situation
- I’m cold, I will put my gloves on!
- Sure, he’ll come tonight.
- No worries, they’ll call you back.
Espoirs, opinions et prédictions
- I hope you will leave soon.
- I think she will pay with cash.
- In my opinion, they will buy this business.
Use
On utilise le futur simple à la forme affirmative pour :
- Faire une promesse ;
- Décrire une décision évidente compte tenu des circonstances ;
- Faire part de ses espoirs, opinions et prédictions.

On utilise le futur simple [future simple] à la forme affirmative pour confirmer une prédiction, une hypothèse ou une intention future.
On construit le futur simple à la forme affirmative, en commençant avec le sujet suivi de will, puis de la base verbale.
Par exemple :
— “We will work on important projects next month. » = La phrase est au futur simple affirmatif donc on utilise will devant la base verbal to work (will work).
♦ « We work on important projects. » = Cette phrase est au présent simple affirmatif donc on utilise la base verbale to work (work).
