Introduction
Türkçede Arapçadan gelen birçok kelime ve ek vardır. Bazen bu kelime ve eklerin Türkçeye uyarlanmış hâlleri kullanılır. “-sAl” eki bunlardan biridir. Arapça “+(v)î” ekinin değiştirilmesiyle oluşmuştur. Anlam olarak aitlik ya da ilgili olma anlamı verir.
Form
“-sAl” eki eklendiği kelimeyi sıfatlaştırır. Bu ek hem isim hem fiillere gelebilir. Yapı formülü şu şekildedir:
isim/fiil kökü + “-sAl” eki
Use
Türkçede “-sAl” eki fiillerden ve isimlerden sıfatlar türetmemizi sağlar. Bu ek geldiği kelimede iki farklı anlam bildirir:
- ait olma anlamı
- ilgili olma anlamı
