Introduction
To be used to — это структура, которая используется, чтобы говорить об известных привычках и обычаях.
В отрицательной [negative] форме глагольная структура отрицает какую-то привычку субъекта.
Form
To be used to в отрицательной форме имеет следующую формулу:
Subject + to be + not + used to + [verb + ing]/pronoun/noun phrase + …
- Краткая форма отрицательной формы схожа с краткой формой to be: I’m not – you’re not/you aren’t – he’s not/he isn’t…

Example
- They‘re not used to working in a big, modern city.
- I have not had long hair since I was a child so I‘m not used to it now.
- He is not used to the noise of the shower.
Use
Формула to be used to в отрицательной форме отрицает что-то или кому-то знакомые действия.
Summary
To be used to в отрицательной [negative] форме отрицает известные привычки и обычаи.
Используемая формула:
Subject + to be + not + used to + [verb + ing]/pronoun/noun phrase + …
Например:
— “You are not used to having breakfast early in the morning.” = Завтракать с утра не является привычкой субъекта.
ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: Не путать с to use to, которое применимо только в предложениях прошедшего времени.
Например:
— “You aren’t used to have breakfast early in the morning.” = Используем to be used to, чтобы отобразить действие, которое привычно субъекту в данный момент.
♦ “You didn’t use to have breakfast early in the morning.“= Используем to use to, чтобы отобразить действие, которое произошло в прошлом и больше не происходит.
