Introduction

A wh-kérdések [wh-questions] mindig az egyik wh-s kérdőszóval [wh-question word] (kérdő névmás) kezdődnek, amely megmutatja, milyen információra van szükségünk {nézze meg a Wh-kérdések, A1 szint részt}.

Múlt időre is kérdezhetünk velük.

Form

A wh-s kérdő szavak a következők: when, where, why, which, what, whose, who, whom és how.

Hogy a múltra kérdezzünk, elég az igét múlt időbe tenni:

  • Segédigével:
Wh- question word + auxiliary verb (past form) + subject + verb +…?
  • Segédige nélkül:
    What/Who + verb (past form) + …?
    Which/Whose + noun + verb (past form) + …?
  • Módbeli segédigével:
Wh- question word + modal verb (past form) + subject + verb + …?
Wh- question word + auxiliary verb (past form) + subject + modal verb + verb + …?

Example

  • Segédigével
    • Where did you travel last year?
    • Why did you buy a new car?
    • What did you do yesterday?
  • Segédige nélkül
    • What broke the PC?
    • Who called the police?
    • Whose phone rang?
  • Módbeli segédige
    • How should he tell her he is a prince?
    • What could I do at that moment?
    • Why did you need to judge everyone?
