Introduction
Infinitif [infinitive] adalah bentuk dasar dari kata kerja, dan digunakan untuk membentuk kata kerja tenses lainnya.
Form
Terdapat dua bentuk infinitif:
- Zero infinitif [zero infinitive] hanya memiliki bentuk dasar kata kerja (work).
- To-infinitif [to-infinitive] terbentuk dari to dan bentuk dasar kata kerja (to work).
Example
Zero infinitif
- I can speak Spanish.
- He can count to ten.
- They can write in Russian.
To-infinitif
- I asked him to teach me French.
- She loves to paint with watercolours.
- We hope to find a yellow dress.
Use
Zero dan to-infinitif digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pembentukan kata kerja tenses lainnya.

Infinitif adalah bentuk dasar sebuah kata kerja. Kita dapat membedakannya menjadi dua bentuk:
