Introduction
Nenoteiksme [infinitive] ir darbības vārda pamatforma, tā tiek izmantota, lai veidotu citus darbības vārda laikus.
Form
Ir divas nenoteiksmes formas:
- Nulles infinitīvs [zero infinitive] sastāv tikai no darbības vārda pamatformas (work).
- To infinitīvs [to-infinitive] sastāv no to un darbības vārda pamatformas (to work).
Example
Nulles infinitīvs
- I can speak Spanish.
- He can count to ten.
- They can write in Russian.
To infinitīvs
- I asked him to teach me French.
- She loves to paint with watercolours.

Nulles un to infinitīvus izmanto, kā pamatformu citu laiku veidošanai.
