Vietniekvārdi [pronouns] ir vārdi, kurus izmanto, lai neatkārtotu lietvārdu.
Personas vietniekvārdus [subject pronouns] lieto, lai aizstātu lietvārdu, kas teikumā apzīmē cilvēku vai priekšmetu.
Form
Personas vietniekvārdi atšķiras pēc skaitļa (vienskaitļa, daudzskaitļa) un dzimtes (sieviešu, vīriešu, neitrāla).
Personas vietniekvārdus teikumā izmanto pirms darbības vārda.
