Introduction

Izmantojam darbības vārdu to have, lai veidotu bieži izmantojamās izteiksmes [common expressions] neformālā saziņā.

Form

Have izmanto kā galveno darbības vārdu teikumā, bet have got nevar būt izmantots šajās izteiksmēs.

Bieži izmantojamām izteiksmēm apgalvojuma formā parasti ir sekojoša formula:
Subject + have/has + object + …

  • Trešās personas vienskaitlī have mainās un kļust par has.

Bieži izmantojamām izteiksmēm nolieguma formā ir sekojoša formula:
Subject + do/does + not + have + object + …

  • Trešās personas vienskaitlī do mainās un kļūst par does.
  • Atceries, ka nedrīkst izmantot have not bieži izmantojamās izteiksmēs.

Example

  1. I have a shower every morning.
    I don’t have a shower every morning.
  2. Have a good journey!
    Don’t have a good journey!
  3. We had* a fight.
    We didn’t have* a fight.
  4. She had a look at the book.
    She didn’t have a look at the book.

Use

Darbības vārda to have lietojums un nozīme ir atkarīga no tam sekojoša lietvārda.

Bieži izmantojamās izteiksmes ar to have:

  1. Have + breakfast, lunch, a meal, dinner, coffee, tea, a shower, a rest, a dream, a drink…;
  2. Have + a good day, a bad day, a good time, a bad time, a good journey, a nice day…;
  3. Have + a conversation, a talk, a fight…;
  4. Have + a look, a try…

Summary

Bieži izmantojamie: have breakfast, have a good day, have a conversation, have a look…

Izmantojamā formula apgalvojuma [affirmative] formā:
Subject + have/has + object + … (has trešai personai vienskaitlī)

Izmantojamā formula nolieguma [negative] formā:
Subject + do/does + not + have + object + … (does not trešai personai vienskaitlī)

Piemēram:
— Apgalvojuma: “Have a rest.” / “Have got a rest.“ = Neizmantojam have got šajās izteiksmēs.
— Nolieguma: “Don’t have a rest now.” / “Have not a rest now.” = Nolieguma formā nevaram izmantot have not.
