Introduction
Apstākļu vārdi [adverbs] ir vārdi, kas darbojas kā teikumu, palīgteikumu vai vairāku teikumu daļu pārveidotāji.
Biežuma apstākļu vārdus [adverbs of frequency] izmanto, lai sniegtu informāciju par notikumu biežumu.
Form
Biežuma apstākļu vārdi parasti atrodas pēc palīgdarbības vārdiem to be vai to have un pirms citiem darbības vārdiem.
Izmantojamās formulas:
Subject + be/have + adverb + …
Subject + adverb + verb + …
Galvenie biežuma apstākļu vārdi: never, rarely, sometimes, often, usually un always.
Example
- I always go to class.
- I never lost control.
- He often seems to be tired.
- I rarely go to the dentist.
- He sometimes buys the daily newspaper.
- I usually go to school on time.
Use
Biežuma apstākļu vārdi sniedz informāciju par biežumu ar kuru kaut kas notiek. Galvenie biežuma apstākļu vārdi ir:
- Always (vienmēr);
- Never (nekad);
- Often (daudzas reizes);
- Rarely (reti);
- Sometimes (dažos gadījumos, bet ne vienmēr vai bieži);
- Usually (vairākos gadījumos).
