Introduction

В англійській мові ми використовуємо дієслово to Have для утворення Загального Вираження у неформальному спілкування.

Form

Common Expressions зазвичай мають таку структуру:
Subject + have/has + object + … (“has” for the third person singular).

У цьому випадку дієслово To Have не має конкретного значення, його значення залежить від іменника.

Для утворення заперечної форми дієслова, потрібно вжити:
Subject + do/does + not + have + object + … (“does” not для третьої особи однини).

Запам’ятай, що не можна вживати have not.

Example

  1. I have a shower every morning.
    I don’t have a shower every morning.
  2. Have a good journey!
    Don’t have a good journey!
  3. We had* a fight.
    We didn’t have* a fight.
  4. She had a look at the book.
    She didn’t have a look at the book.

Use

Have вживається як основне дієслово у реченні. Have got не може бути вживаний у цих вираженнях.

  1. Have + breakfast, lunch, a meal, dinner, coffee, tea, a shower, a rest, a dream, a drink…;
  2. Have + a good day, a bad day, a good time, a bad time, a good journey, a nice day…;
  3. Have + a conversation, a talk, a fight…;
  4. Have + a look, a try…

Summary

Дієслово to Have вживається коли воно з’являється у деяких висловах у неформальному спілкуванні.

Структура цих висловів є такою:

Subject + have/has + object + … (has for third person singular)

The structure, in the negative form, is:
Subject + do/does + not + have + object + … (does not for the third person singular)

Наприклад:
— Affirmative: “I have breakfast.” – “I have got breakfast“ = Have got не може бути вживано у цих висловах, have вживається як основним дієсловом у реченні.
— Negative: “I don’t have breakfast.” – “I have not breakfast“ = Have not не вживається, лише have може бути вжито у цих висловах.
