Introduction

Il verbo è una parte variabile del discorso che indica un’azione, un avvenimento o uno stato.

I verbi ausiliari hanno il compito di aiutare altri verbi nella la formazione dei tempi composti. Ne esistono due: essere e avere.

L’indicativo passato prossimo è il tempo che si utilizza per parlare di un fatto che si è concluso in un passato non lontano dal presente.

Form

I verbi ausiliari formano il passato prossimo aggiungendo al presente indicativo la forma del participio passato.

I verbi ausiliari al passato prossimo indicativo hanno le seguenti forme:

PERS. ESSERE AVERE
Io sono stato/a ho avuto
Tu sei stato/a hai avuto
Lui/Lei è stato/a ha avuto
Noi siamo stati/e abbiamo avuto
Voi siete stati/e avete avuto
Loro sono stati/e hanno avuto

NOTA: Il participio passato del verbo essere concorda sempre nel genere e nel numero con il soggetto a cui si riferisce.

Example

  • Oggi sono stato assunto.
  • Quest’anno Maria è stata promossa.
  • Siamo stati professori per anni.
  • Siete state molto gentili con noi.
  • Hai avuto tanta fortuna.
  • Giulia ha avuto i parenti a cena.
  • Hanno avuto grandi problemi in famiglia.

Use

L’indicativo passato prossimo dei verbi ausiliari prevede gli stessi usi dell’indicativo passato prossimo dei verbi regolari.
