Introduction
Le présent continu [present continuous] ou progressif [progressive] est le temps utilisé pour parler de situations qui se déroulent dans l’instant présent (avant, pendant ou après le moment où l’on parle).
À la forme interrogative, il sert à s’informer sur quelque chose qui est en train d’avoir lieu.
Form
Voici la structure du présent continu à la forme interrogative :
To be + sujet + [verbe + -ing] + …?

Use
On utilise le présent continu à la forme interrogative pour s’informer sur :
- Un action qui se passe au moment où l’on parle ;
- Une action prévue dans le futur ;
- Un changement, une tendance ;
- Un événement régulier ;
- Une activité temporaire (qui finira dans le futur).
Summary
Le présent continu [present continuous], à la forme interrogative, est utilisé pour s’informer sur une situation qui a lieu au moment où l’on parle.
À la forme interrogative, on met d’abord le verbe to be suivi du sujet, puis le verbe en -ing (la phrase se termine par un point d’interrogation).
Par exemple :
— « Is he working on an important project today? » = On utilise le présent continu pour s’informer sur une action qui peut avoir lieu quand on parle (en ce moment).
♦ « Does he work on important projects? » = On utilise le présent simple pour s’informer sur une action qui se répète dans le présent.
