Introduction
El pasado simple [past simple] es el tiempo utilizado para expresar situaciones que ocurrieron en el pasado y ya han terminado.
Muchos verbos comunes tienen formas irregulares en el pasado.
Form
No hay ninguna regla para explicar cómo obtener la forma irregular del pasado simple, solo tenemos que aprender estos verbos y sus formas del pasado de memoria.
Los verbos irregulares más comunes son:

Example
- I bought a film yesterday.
- He drank wine at church.
- They went to the mountains last week.

Use
Se usa el pasado simple irregular de la misma manera que el regular, pero se forma diferentemente.

Los más comunes son: become ⇒ became, do ⇒ did, go ⇒ went, have ⇒ had, read ⇒ read, see ⇒ saw…
Por ejemplo:
— «I left my blanket under the tree.» / «I leaved my blanket under the tree.» = El verbo leave cambia a left, porque es un verbo irregular.
