Introduction

To be used to – структура,яка вживається для того,щоб розповісти про звички і навички,які знайомі нам.

Коли вживаємо в Стверджувальній формі, дієслово підтверджує,що суб’єкт має деякі навички.

Form

Стверджувальна форма “To be used to” має таку структуру:
Subject + to be + used to + [verb + -ing]/pronoun/noun phrase  + …

Subject To Be used to Verb + -ing
I am used to working
You are used to working
He/She/It is used to working
We/You/They are used to working

*Якщо дієслово слідує “used to”, тоді воно матиме закінчення  -ing.

Example

  • They‘re used to working in a big, modern city.
  • I have had long hair since I was a child so I‘m used to it now.
  • He is used to the noise of the shower.

Use

Структура “To be used to” вживається для того,щоб розповісти про речі чи діяльності для когось знайомі або звиклі.

Ми вживаємо структуру “To be used to” ,щоб розповісти про звички і навички,які є знайомі нам.Коли вживаємо в Стверджувальній формі, дієслово підтверджує,що суб’єкт має певні звички.
Структура “To be used to” в Стверджувальній формі має таку структуру:
Subject + to be + used to + [verb + -ing]/pronoun/noun phrase  + … (e.g. I am used to having breakfast early in the morning.).
Наприклад:
— “I am used to having breakfast early in the morning.” = Суб’єкт підтверджує,що має навичку.NOTE: якщо дієслово слідує “used to”, воно матиме форму герундія (дієслово + -ing).
