Afirmatif

Struktur dalam bentuk afirmatif adalah:

Example

Afirmatif

Negatif

Interogatif

  • Am I going to the shop this weekend?
  • Is he going to be the boss when he grows up?

Use

Kita menggunakan be going to untuk menyampaikan suatu keinginan atau rencana untuk waktu yang akan datang.

CATATAN: Kita dapat mengganti kata going to dengan gonna dalam konteks informal.

Summary

Be going to mengacu kepada keinginan yang kuat atau rencana untuk waktu yang akan datang.

  • Afirmatif: Subject + to be + going to + verb + …
  • Negatif: Subject + to be + not + going to + verb + …
  • Interogatif: To be + subject + going to + verb + …?

Contoh:
— Afirmatif: “I am going to go to work.”
— Negatif: “I am not going to go to work, I am going to go to the shop.”
— Interogatif: “Are you going to go to work?”
