Introduction
Los pronombres [pronouns] son palabras que usamos para evitar repeticiones de un sustantivo.
Los pronombres indefinidos [indefinite pronouns] no se refieren a una persona, cosa o cantidad específica.
Something se refiere a objetos con una cantidad no especificada mientras que nothing se refiere a objetos que no están.
Form
Podemos utilizar something como el sujeto o el objeto de una oración o pregunta. Lo usamos en oraciones singulares positivas.
Las estructuras son:
Verb/auxiliary verb + something + …
Something + verb/auxiliary verb + …
Podemos utilizar nothing como el sujeto u objeto de una oración o pregunta. No podemos usarlo con oraciones negativas, porque ya tiene un significado negativo.
Las estructuras son:
Verb/auxiliary verb + nothing + …
Nothing + verb + …
Example
Something
- I need something to clean the microwave.
- Something smells terrible in the gas oven.
Nothing
- There is nothing in the dishwasher.
- Right now, nothing is in good state.
Use
Usamos los pronombres indefinidos para no hacer referencia a una persona, cosa o cantidad específica.
- Something expresa una cosa no especificada.
- Nothing no se refiere a ningún objeto.

Usamos el pronombre indefinido something para describir una cantidad indefinida de cosas. Las estructuras son:
