Реттік сан есім заттың ретін білдіреді.
Form
Реттік сан есімнің алдына міндетті түрде the артиклі қойылады.
Реттік сан есім есептік сан есімге -th* қосылу арқылы жасалады (1 – 10):
- 1st* – First
- 2nd* – Second
- 3rd* – Third
- 4th – Fourth
- 5th* – Fifth
- 6th – Sixth
- 7th – Seventh
- 8th* – Eighth
- 9th* – Ninth
- 10th – Tenth
*Ерекшеліктер ( twelve = twelfth).
Example
- He was the first on the list. / He was the 1st on the list.
- It’s my second time in Sweden. / It’s my 2nd time in Sweden.
- I want the third cake. / I want the 3rd cake.
