Introduction
Pridjevi [adjectives] su determinatori s dva moguća položaja unutar rečenice. Koristimo ih za opisivanje osobe ili stvari.
Pridjevi se mogu koristi u pasivu [passive adjectives] i aktivu [active adjectives].
Form
Tvorba pridjeva u aktivu i pasivu:
- Pridjevi u aktivu sa sufiksom -ing.
- Pridjevi u aktivu sa sufiksom -ed.
Example
Pridjevi u aktivu
- Her answer was amazing!
- The film is so boring!
- They found the topic very interesting.
Pridjevi u pasivu
- We were amazed by her answer.
- I don’t like this film, I’m bored.
- They were interested in the topic.
Use
Pridjeve u aktivu koristimo kad opisujemo posebni efekt koji je izazvan nekim ili nečim.
Pridjeve u pasivu koristimo kad netko ili nešto osjeća neku emociju ili doživljava određeno iskustvo.

Pridjevi [adjectives] se mogu koristi u pasivu [passive adjectives] i aktivu [active adjectives] s značajnim razlikama u značenju.
- Pridjevi u aktivu, sa sufiksom -ing, izražavaju ideju nekoga tko izaziva određenu radnju ili posljedice te radnje.

Naprimjer:
— “This class was boring!” = Nastava izaziva dosadnu situaciju.
— “I was bored during the lesson.” = Subjekt (I) doživlljava radnju i dosađuje se.
