Introduction

Preposizioak elementuak esaldi batean konektatzen dituzten hitz txikiak dira. Ezinbestekoak dira detaile gehigarriak esaldiari buruz ematen digutelako.

Mugimentu preposizioak mugimenduak edo norabideak adierazteko erabiltzen dira.

Form

Mugimentu preposizioak ez doaz bakarrik, esaldiaren beste elementuekin doaz.

Erabiera hurrengoaren araberakoa da:

  1. Leku batera edo batetik mugitzea: to, from, down, up, away from…
  2. Mugimendua alde batetik bestera: across, along…
  3. Posizioa aldatzea: in/into, on/onto, out of, off, over, under…

Example

Leku batera edo batetik mugitzea

  • Northern wind goes to Turkey every winter.
  • My mother came from the garden.
  • The baby pig fell down the stairs.
  • I’m going up to the second floor to see the sky.
  • Get away from the olive trees!

Mugimendua alde batetik bestera

  • Be careful when you go across the streets. It is snowing.
  • Every Sunday we go for a walk along the coast.

Posizioa aldatzea

  • My grandfather is coming into the garden.
  • My sister’s cat always jumps on/onto the table.
  • Your dog is out of your apartment right now.
  • Can you get off the bed and go to the supermarket, please?
  • The plane flies over the hill.
  • The subway runs under the street level.

Use

Mugimentu preposizioak leku batetik bestera erakusteko erabiltzen dira.

Hurrengoa adierazi dezakete:

  • Leku batera edo batetik mugitzea (to, from, down, up, away from…)
  • Mugimendua alde batetik bestera (across, along…)
  • Posizioa aldatzea (in/into, on/onto, out of, off, over, under…)

Adibidez:
— “I go to Ibiza every summer.” = to helmuga zehatz batera iristeko dugun posizio aldaketa adierazteko erabiltzen da.
— “Be careful when you go across the streets.” = across erabiltzen dugu alde batetik bestera posizio aldaketa bide batez eginda dagoela adierazteko.
— “My grandfather walks in the living room.” = in erabiltzen dugu hiru dimentsiotako leku baten barruan sartzean posizio aldaketa adierazteko.
