Introduction
Determinatzaileak substantiboen modifikatzaileak dira. Hitz egiten ari garen zein eta zenbat pertsona, gauza, animalia, lekuei… buruz informazioa eman dezakete.
Determinatzaile kuantitatiboak edo kuantifikatzaileak zerbaiten kuantitatea adierazteko erabiltzen dira {ikusi Quantitative Determiners, A1 Level}.
Form
Determinatzaile kuantitatiboak zerbaiten kuantitatea deskribatzeko erabiltzen dira.
Gehien erabiltzen diren kuantitatiboak hurrengoak dira: all (of), a lot of (lots of), a number of, enough (of), most (of), none (of)…
Example
- All my friends like drawing.
All of my friends like drawing. - A lot can happen in a long trip.
Lots of things can happen in a long trip. - A number of pilots were waiting.
- There isn’t enough red wine for everyone.
There are enough of us to get the group price. - This plant has the most strawberries.
Most of the students in our university are from France. - I have three leather jackets, he has none.
None of their children have dark skin.
Use
Determinatzaile kuantitatiboak zerbaiten kuantitatea deskribatzeko erabiltzen dira:
- All (of) (denek edo gauza guztiek, kopuru osoa);
- A lot (of) (kopuru, eskala edo gradu handia);
- A number of (bi baino gehiago baina asko baino gutxiago);
- Enough (of) (itxaro den kuantitatea, kualitatea, edo eskakizuna);
- Most (of) (kantitate, eskala edo maila handiena, gehienetan);
- None (of) (ez edozer, inor edo ezer).
