Introduction
Belirleyiciler [Determiners] isimleri niteleyen sözcüklerdir. Konuştuğumuz şeyler için insanlar, nesler, hayvanlar, yerler which and how much/many soruları hakkında bilgi verirler.
Miktar Belirleyicileri [Quantitative determiners or quantifiers] bir şeyin miktarını göstermek için kullanılır. {Quantitative Determiners, A1 Level konusuna bakınınz}.
Form
Miktar Belirleyicileri miktar belirtmek istendiğinde kullanılır.
En çok kullanılanları: all (of), a lot of (lots of), a number of, enough (of), most (of), none (of)…
Example
- All my friends like drawing.
All of my friends like drawing. - A lot can happen in a long trip.
Lots of things can happen in a long trip. - A number of pilots were waiting.
- There isn’t enough red wine for everyone.
There are enough of us to get the group price. - This plant has the most strawberries.
Most of the students in our university are from France. - I have three leather jackets, he has none.
None of their children have dark skin.
Use
Miktar Belirleyicileri miktar belirtmek istediğimizde kullanılır.
- All (of) (herkes veya her şey, var olan her şey);
- None (of) (hiç, hiçbir şey veya hiç kimse);
- Enough (of) (miktar, nitelik veya koşulları, istekleri veya beklentileri karşılayan durum);
- Most (of) (verilen miktarın, ölçeğin veya derecenin en büyük kısmı, çoğunluk);
- A lot (of) (verilen miktarın, ölçeğin veya derecenin büyük bir kısmı);
- A number of (ikiden fazla ama çok fazla sayıda değil).
