Introduction
Zamirler [pronouns] ismin tekrarından kaçınmak için kullanılır (Subject Pronouns, A1 konusuna bakınız).
Dönüşlülük Zamirleri [reflexive pronouns] cümlenin öznesine vurgu yapmak için kullanılır.
Form
Dönüşlülük Zamirleri, sahiplik sıfatları ve self (selves çoğul hali) kelimesinin bir araya gelmesiyle oluşur.

Example
- I baked this cake myself (kimse yardım etmedi).
- The businessman replied to the customer himself.
- The employees shouldn’t blame themselves when clients don’t want to buy a product.
Use
Dönüşlülük Zamirleri genelde özne ve nesnenin aynı kişi ya da nesneden bahsettiği durumlarda kullanılır. Başka bir deyişle eylemi yapan kişi aynı zamanda eylemden etkilenen ve eylemi yaşayan kişi ile aynıdır.
Summary
Dönüşlülük Zamirleri [reflexive pronouns] cümlenin öznesine vurgu yapmak için kullanılır ve sayılarına veya cinslerine göre değişir. (-self tekil, -selves çoğul)
Bunlar: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves ve themselves.
Örnek:
— “I have to prepare myself for the shopping centre.” = Myself burada özne (I) yerine kullanılmış.
♦ “I have to prepare my clothes and hair for the shopping centre.” = My derken burada nesne olan kıyafetlerden bahsedilmiş.
