Introduction

Sustantiboek pertsona, leku, gauza, gertaera, sustantzia edo kualitate bati erreferentzia egiten diote.

Sustantibo plural formak persona, animalia, leku edo gauza bat baino gehiago daudela adierazeteko erabiltzen dira. Substantibo batzuk ez dute araurik jarraitzen, irregularrak dira eta bere pluara era ezberdin batean sortzen dute.

Form

Plural irregularra duten substantiboak ez dira -s edo -es gehitzen sortzen. Ez daukate araurik plural forma zelan sortzen den azaltzeko, hitz hauek eta haien pluralak buruz ikasi behar dira. Gehien erabiltzen diren substantiboak eta haien plural forma irregularrak hurrengoak dira:

Use

Plural irregularrak regularren era berdinean erabiltzen dira baina era ezberdinean sortzen dira.

Summary

Ez dago araurik, plural irregulardun substantiboak sortzeko, beraz, buruz ikasi behar dira.

Gehien erabiltzen direnak hurrengoak dira: child ⇒ children, foot ⇒ feet, man ⇒ men, person ⇒ people, woman ⇒ women…

Related

Irregular plural nouns are not formed according to the same rules as the formation of plural nouns. Similar to plural nouns, irregular plural is also used with countable nouns.
