Konparatibo eta superlatibo irregularrak

Introduction

Konparatiboak bi gauza, pertsona edo ekintza konparatzelo erabiltzen dira eta superlatiboak gauza, pertsona edo ekintza baten nagusitasuna adierazteko erabiltzen dira.

Badaude adjektibo eta adberbio batzuk konparatibo eta superlatibo irregularrarekin.

Form

Konparatibo eta superlatibo irregularrek ez dituzte formazio arau generalak jarraitzen, buruz ikasi behar ditugu. Gehien erabiltzen diren adjektibo eta adberbio konparatibo eta superlatibo irregularrak hurrengoak dira:

Example

Comparative

  • Susan is a better assistant than her sister.
  • You have to go farther to get to the lawyer’s office.
  • Peter is going to talk to him later about the house.

Superlative

  • John is the best assistant in the office.
  • This is the furthest point I’ve ever reached in the agency!
  • They come to the garage the latest.

Use

Konparatibo eta superlatibo irregularrak erregularren modu berean erabiltzen dira.

Summary

Adjektibo/adberbio irregularrekin, forma konparatibo eta superlatioak ezin dira erregularren era berdinean sortu eta buruz ikasi behar dira.

Gehien erabiltzen direnak hurrengoak dira:

  • Bad (adj.) – badly (adv.) ⇒ worse (comp.) – the worst (super.);
  • Good (adj.) – well (adv.) ⇒ better (comp.) – the best (super.).

Adibidez:
— Konparatiboak: “You can write a good CV.” ⇒ “You can write a better CV.” / “You can write a gooder CV.
— Superlatiboak: “You can write a good CV.” ⇒ “You can write the best CV.” / “You can write the goodest CV.
