Introduction

Nākotnes [future] laiku izmanto, lai paredzētu vai izteiktu nākotnes notikumus.

Kad izmanto present continuous laika formulu, tiek minēti noteiktie plāni {skatīties Present continuous, A1 līmenis}.

Form

Example

  • She‘s having a birthday party next week.
  • She isn’t having a birthday party next week.
  • Is she having a birthday party next week?

Use

Laiku present continuous var izmantot, lai izteiktu, noliegtu vai jautātu par plānotām nākotnes darbībām vai noteiktiem plāniem, kuru notikumu laiks ir nolemts.

Laiku present continuous var izmantot, lai runātu par nākotnes vai noteiktiem plāniem.

Piemēram:
— “I am working on an important project the whole month.” = Izmantojam present continuous nākotnes [future] laikā, jo tiek runāts par tuvāko nākotni (drīz).
♦ “I am working on an important project the whole month.” = Izmantojam present continuous, jo tiek runāts par tagadnes situāciju (tagad).
♦ “I will work on an important project the whole month.” = Izmantojam future simple, jo tiek runāts par laika periodu, kas drīz nenotiks (nākotne).
