Introduction

ახლანდელი განუსაზღვრელი [present simple] არის დრო და გამოხატავს მუდმივ სიტუაციებსა და მოქმედებებს, რომლებიც რეგულარულად მეორდება ან ყოველთვის ხდება.

მტკიცებითი [affirmative]ფორმით წარმოდგენისას, ზმნა უარყოფს რამეს სუბიექტის შესახებ.

Form

ახლანდელ განუსაზღვრელ დროს მტკიცებით ფორმაში აქვს შემდეგი სტრუქტურა:
Subject + verb + …

  • მხოლობითი რიცხვის მესამე პირში ზმნას ბოლოში ემატება –s. გამონაკლისები [exceptions]:
    • ზმნებს სუფიქსებით -ch, -s, -sh, -x, -z: ემატება -es (watch ⇒ watches; kiss ⇒ kisses; crush ⇒ crushes; tax ⇒ taxes; buzz ⇒ buzzes);
    • ზმნები, რომლებიც ბოლოვდება თანხმოვანი [consonant] + y-ზე:  -y იცვლება i -ში და ემატება  -es (cry ⇒ cries);
    • არაწესიერი ზმნები, როგორიცაა do, go, be და have არ მისდევენ წესებს: do ⇒ does, go ⇒ goes, be ⇒ is, have ⇒ has.

    • The sun rises in the east.

    • I live in Brussels.

Use

ახლანდელ განუსაზღვრელ დროს მტკიცებით ფორმაში ვიყენებთ შემდეგ შემთხვევებში:

  1. დადგენილი მომავალი (დაგეგმილი სიტუაცია ზუსტი თარიღით);
  2. ცხრილები (დაგეგმილი სიტუაცია ზუსტი დროით);
  3. ჩვევები/რუტინა (ის, რაც აწმყოში მუდმივად ხდება);
  4. ფაქტები (ფაქტები, რომლებიც წარმოადგენს ზოგად ჭეშმარიტებას);
  5. მუდმივად განმეორებადი სიტუაციები (შემთხვევები, რომლებიც ხდებოდა გარკვეული პერიოდის განმავლობაში და მომავალშიც მოხდება);
  6. დაპირებები;
  7. ინსტრუქციები (ბრძანებები);
