Introduction
To be used to (მიჩვევა) არის კონსტრუქცია, რომლითაც გამოვხატავთ ჩვევებსა და ქცევებს, რომლებიც ჩვენთვის ნაცნობია.
თავისი უარყოფითი [negative] ფორმით ზმნა უარყოფს, რომ სუბიექტს გააჩნია გარკვეული ჩვევები.
Form
To be used to კონსტრუქციას თავისი უარყოფითი ფორმით აქვს შემდეგი სტუქტურა:
Subject + to be + not + used to + [verb + ing]/pronoun/noun phrase + …
- უარყოფითის მოკლე ფორმები ემთხვევა to be ზმნისას: I’m not – you’re not/you aren’t – he’s not/he isn’t…

- They‘re not used to working in a big, modern city.
- I have not had long hair since I was a child so I‘m not used to it now.

to be used to უარყოფითი ფორმით უარყოფს, რომ გარკვეული მოქმედება ვინმესთვის ნაცნობი ან დამახასიათებელია.
