Introduction
To be used to to struktura, która służy do mówienia o nawykach i przyzwyczajeniach.
W formie pytającej, czasownik zadaje pytanie na temat istnienia jakiegoś przyzwyczajenia.
Form
To be used to, w formie pytającej, ma taką strukturę:
To be + subject + used to + [verb + ing]/pronoun/noun phrase + …?

Example

Use
Struktura to be used to pyta, w formie pytającej, o rzeczy lub czynności, które są komuś znane lub do których jest przyzwyczajony.

Struktura:
To be + subject + used to + [verb + ing]/pronoun/noun phrase + …?
Na przykład:
— “Are you used to having breakfast early in the morning?” = Pytamy czy „having breakfast in the morning” jest zwyczajem podmiotu.
UWAGA: Nie mylić z to use to, które może występować tylko w zdaniach, które już są w czasie przeszłym.
Na przykład:
— “Are you used to having breakfast early in the morning?” = Używamy to be used to by zapytać czy podmiot jest przyzwyczajony do czynności.
♦ “Did you use to have breakfast in the morning?“= Używamy to use to by zapytać czy czynność wydarzyła się w przeszłości, jako że wydarzenie już nie ma miejsca (“Did you used to have breakfast early in the morning?” = Tutaj czas przeszły został już pokazany za pomocą czasownika did)
